Biography

Nataliia Lomonosova is currently a PhD candidate in sociology at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Until March 2024, she worked as a senior analyst and area coordinator for social policy at Cedos, a think tank in Kyiv. Since April 2024, she has been a consultant for the Ministry of Social Policy.

Since October 2024, she has been a fellow in the Ukraine Research Network@ZOiS. Her project focuses on the time poverty of Ukrainian women. She specifically looks at vulnerable groups of women and women working in caring professions (social workers and nurses). Her goal is to explore how care responsibilities and work arrangements shape the time deprivation of women in order to understand what policy changes are needed to reduce time poverty and prevent income poverty among women, support their labour market participation and increase their well-being.
