Belinda Nüssel has been working as Communications Coordinator for the Competence Network Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies (KIU) since August 2024.  She studied European Studies and Eastern European Studies at Osnabrück University and at Freie Universität Berlin.

From 2019 to 2021, she worked as a research assistant in the Eastern Europe and Eurasia research group at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. She then completed a traineeship in the online editorial department of the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) from 2021 to 2023. She has also gained experience in press and public relations work in various freelance contexts.
