Biography

Hanna Shvindina holds a PhD in Environmental Economics, and a habilitation in Management from Sumy State University. She has been an associate professor at the American University Kyiv (AUK) since 2021 and is also the academic director of the Global Management Programme and head of the institutional review board at the School of Management at AUK. Since 2018, she has been CEO of the NGO Lifelong Learning Centre in Sumy. She is also a part-time professor at Sumy State University.

Since October 2024, she has been a fellow in the Ukraine Research Network@ZOiS, where she researches female leadership in times of crisis. Her aim is to gain insights into how female leaders navigating crises could guide the development of leadership training programmes that emphasise resilience, adaptability and effective crisis management.
