First MoveMeRU Publication Out Now

We are excited to announce the first publication in our project: the ZOiS Spotlight article "Online Lives between Germany and Russia" by Sophia Winkler, published on 23 July 2024. This article explores Russia's use of social media as a foreign policy tool amidst the war against Ukraine, focusing on the conflicting worldviews in the online space between Germany and Russia.

In her article, Sophia examines how social media spreads disinformation and propaganda while also providing platforms for sharing information and building solidarity networks. The text also discusses the roles of German-Russian influencers, some of whom support state narratives while others adopt critical or ambivalent stances.
