Overcoming the Divides? Towards Global Inclusivity in Communication Studies in Times of Uncertainty
Our PhD student Sophia Winkler will present her paper, “Belonging Between Two Worlds? Social Media and Young Russians' Identity Abroad,” at the Annual Conference of the DGPuK International and Intercultural Communication Division. The conference, titled “Overcoming the Divides? Towards Global Inclusivity in Communication Studies in Times of Uncertainty,” will take place at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg on November 14-15, 2024.
The event will feature over 50 researchers and media scholars. It is hosted by the Public Spheres and Inequalities and Transcultural Communication Divisions at the University of Salzburg, in cooperation with the DFG-Network Cosmopolitan (DFG_Netzwerk Kosmopolitische Kommunikationswissenschaft).
A preliminary workshop for PhD students will provide a space for sharing work-in-progress with mentors and members of the DGPuK International and Intercultural Communication Division and the DFG-Network Cosmopolitan Studies.
